Survivors Through Disaster Kit Drive:
As severe
flooding continues to devastate communities across the United States,
Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims (TFOHFNDV) is
issuing an urgent nationwide call for monetary donations to support
its Disaster Kit Drive, which is an initiative to provide essential
emergency self-caring relief kits to families who have lost homes,
belongings, and access to basic necessities.
Trinity Foundation
of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims is a faith driven nonprofit
dedicated to providing humanitarian services to natural disaster
victims, emphasizes that financial contributions are the fastest and
most effective way to deliver help to survivors in crisis.
“Right now, families are standing in the middle of overwhelming loss,”
said Executive Director and Founder, Dr. Lakisha Mearidy-Bell.
“Monetary donations allow us to respond immediately, purchase exactly
what survivors need, and place Disaster Kits directly into their hands
without delay. Every dollar begins restoring hope.”

A Crisis That
Demands National Compassion:
Flood survivors are
facing unsafe living conditions, contaminated water, damaged homes,
and the emotional toll of sudden displacement. Many families have lost
everything. Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims is
calling on donors across the country—individuals, churches, civic
groups, and businesses—to stand with these families through financial
giving.
“Compassion has no borders,” Assistant Director and
Founder Minister Lee Bell said. “Whether you live in Louisiana or
across the nation, your generosity can restore dignity, stability, and
hope to families who are hurting from a traumatic experience across
the nation.” Through our experience with Hurricanes Katrina, Hurricane
Rita, Hurricane Wilma, Hurricane Gustav, and the Great Flood of 2016
in Louisiana, we have made it our mission to be missionary and
humanitarian supporters to victims of natural disasters. When one
community or area of the nation is impacted, we all are impacted….in
spirit and the economic environment.”

A Mission Rooted in

Hope for Natural Disaster Victims has a long history of responding to
natural disasters with compassion, humanitarian practical aid and
resources, care and spiritual encouragement.
The Disaster Kit
Drive reflects the organization’s commitment to meeting urgent needs

Trinity Foundation
of Hope Launches 2026 Thanksgiving Drive for Disaster Victims:
As families across the nation prepare to gather around
Thanksgiving tables, the Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural
Disaster Victims is issuing a heartfelt nationwide appeal for monetary
donations to support its 2026 Thanksgiving Drive, an initiative
dedicated to providing food, essential resources, and hope to victims
of recent natural disasters.
With hurricanes, floods, and
severe storms leaving thousands displaced this year (as well as prior
years), the Foundation’s Thanksgiving Drive aims to ensure that
disaster affected families receive nourishing meals and critical
supplies during a season traditionally marked by gratitude,
togetherness, and compassion.
“Thanksgiving is a time when we
pause to reflect on our blessings,” said Executive Director and
Founder, Dr. Lakisha Mearidy-Bell. “For families who have lost homes,
stability, and even the ability to prepare a meal, your generosity can
restore dignity and remind them that they are not forgotten.”

Trinity Foundation
of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims Continues to Play an Integral Role in
Ongoing
Pandemic and Disaster Relief Efforts:
Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims is still
actively involved in the lives of those impacted by the recent
pandemics and natural disasters. The foundation continues to provide funding
(upon availability) to continue addressing humanitarian relief efforts. In addition,
TFOHFNDV has been actively involved in supporting long-term recovery needs
in disaster-related communities. Currently, the foundation has
donated to food pantries, shelters, and faith-based organizations to assist

Walden University to provide cases of water to contribute water
relief efforts in North Louisiana. To support and donate to these and
many other ongoing crisis, please visit the "Donate" link or email at

Heat, Health,
and Wellness Initiative Needs Your Help!
Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims is raising
money for our Heat, Health, and Wellness Initiative, with a focus on
prevention of Heat-Related Illness (HRI or Hyperthermia) among older
adults living in communities faced by extreme heat exposure. Our
foundation is seeking sponsorship to make a significant impact by
providing box fans and cases of water to help beat the heat among
older adults!
The National Weather Service Heat Index Chart has
classified the heat index values into three levels based on the
potential risk of adverse health effects. The “Caution” level includes
heat index values ranging from 80°F to 90°F, the “Extreme Caution”
level includes values between 90°F and 103°F, and the “Danger” level
includes values between 103°F and 124°F
(https://www.weather.gov/ffc/hichart). The heat index has shown to
increase each year, especially during the summer, which can have an
adverse health impact on older adults. In addition, our foundation
recognizes this severe impact can lead to a medical condition, called
Hyperthermia, that occurs when the body temperature rises
significantly above the normal range—typically above 104°F (40°C)—due
to the body’s inability to dissipate heat effectively (National
Institute of Health, 2025).
Your belief in our mission is the
foundation to continue providing immediate humanitarian relief efforts
to those impacted by natural and man-made disasters. We are excited to
seek your sponsorship and generosity as this will be instrumental in
helping older adults reside in cooler environments, which can likely
reduce the impact of extreme heat exposure and health-related illness.
There is no donation too big or too small to contribute to
our initiative! Donate today and make a difference!

Hope for Natural Disaster Victims, 4400 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Ste.
A #324, Lafayette, Louisiana, 70508.
Your generosity
during this critical time will make a real difference in the lives of
those affected by this climate crisis. Thank you for your compassion
and support!
