Trinity Foundation of Hope participated in helping over 100 students visit the Louisiana Penitentiary to gain an understanding of the consequences of their negative and maladaptive behaviors. Children were able to meet and speak with inmates and discuss the reasons why they were incarcerated and how their journey has been since incarceration. Young Positive Minds, Inc. would like to thank the organization for making this trip possible and for the dedication and support the foundation provides to this organization.

Trinity Foundation of Hope For Natural Disaster Victims launches "Shelter the Cities" Project:
Trinity Foundation of Hope is launching its “Shelter the Cities” project beginning March 2024. This project is seeking to raise $20,000 to continue providing temporary assistance to communities impacted by natural disasters through food assistance, temporary shelter assistance, clothing to children and families. In our service to this unique population, we have seen how victims who experience homelessness are often the most impacted and severely affected group during and after a natural disaster. While there is little to no immediate resources or services often available for this population, Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims continues to make a big impact by providing immediate services and resources to communities across the United States who have frequently failed to adequately address the needs of disaster populations in disaster response and recovery. Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims strives to promote the message that communities must build multisector collaborative relationships and ensure that service providers for disaster victims are adequately resourced. However, constraints in funding and staffing in many businesses and organizations around the United States, combined with a lack of guidance about how to achieve an integrated approach to disaster response and services for victims have hindered communities' ability to accomplish these goals. With continue help from the public and private donors, Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims will continue to provide immediate relief to victims during and after a natural disaster event. Go to "Donate" page to make donation. Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims wants to express a sincere “Thank You” for your donations and ability to impact the lives of others. You are appreciated!

Heat, Health, and Wellness Initiative Needs Your Help!

Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims is raising money for our Heat, Health, and Wellness Initiative, with a focus on prevention of Heat-Related Illness (HRI or Hyperthermia) among older adults living in communities faced by extreme heat exposure. Our foundation is seeking sponsorship to make a significant impact by providing box fans and cases of water to help beat the heat among older adults!

The National Weather Service Heat Index Chart has classified the heat index values into three levels based on the potential risk of adverse health effects. The “Caution” level includes heat index values ranging from 80°F to 90°F, the “Extreme Caution” level includes values between 90°F and 103°F, and the “Danger” level includes values between 103°F and 124°F (https://www.weather.gov/ffc/hichart). The heat index has shown to increase each year, especially during the summer, which can have an adverse health impact on older adults. In addition, our foundation recognizes this severe impact can lead to a medical condition, called Hyperthermia, that occurs when the body temperature rises significantly above the normal range—typically above 104°F (40°C)—due to the body’s inability to dissipate heat effectively (National Institute of Health, 2025).

Your belief in our mission is the foundation to continue providing immediate humanitarian relief efforts to those impacted by natural and man-made disasters. We are excited to seek your sponsorship and generosity as this will be instrumental in helping older adults reside in cooler environments, which can likely reduce the impact of extreme heat exposure and health-related illness. There is no donation too big or too small to contribute to our initiative! Donate today and make a difference!

To sponsor this initiative, please click on the "Donate" tab and then click the secure Paypal "Donate" button. In addition, donations may be mailed to Trinity Foundation of Hope for Natural Disaster Victims, 4400 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Ste. A #324, Lafayette, Louisiana, 70508.

Your generosity during this critical time will make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this climate crisis. Thank you for your compassion and support!
